Zachary N. Smith, age 22, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Peabody, Massachusetts. He was a long time resident of Salem, Massachusetts, and currently resided in Douglas, Massachusetts.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie Lundstedt; two sons, Anthony N. Smith and Caden M. Smith; his mother and father, Nancy Brent and Shawn Smith; his three loving sisters, Kara Figueiredo (Grenier), Amanda Grenier, and Skylar Nuovo; one God-daughter, Averie M. Monge; two nieces, Natalia S. Figueiredo and Savannah C. Figueiredo; a nephew Christian K. Figueiredo; a mother-in-law, Barbara Bowie; a sister-in-law, Olivia Wallace; and a brother-in-law, Kevin Figueiredo. He is also survived by aunts, an uncle, many other living relatives, and friends from the Rainbow Terrace.

Zachary was a devoted, loving father. His family was his absolute world. He was a hard-working, skilled man who prided himself in his work. He enjoyed playing baseball and participating in Mixed Martial Arts. He was a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan. His heart was as big as his smile. He was known for putting a smile on everyone's face and being the family comedian. All who knew and loved him will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at the Loyal Order of Moose, 50 Grove Street #218 Salem, Massachusetts 01970 on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. The family will be there to greet relatives and friends. Memorial donations will go towards accounts for Anthony and Caden Smith.
