Woodfin James "Woody" Bartlett, age 56, former husband of Lorraine "Lori" (Paradis) Harris of Mesa, Arizona died at home unexpectedly on Saturday, August 18.

Born in Marblehead, the son of Doris (Devine) Bartlett of Marblehead and the late Charles L. Bartlett, he was educated in Marblehead Schools graduating from Marblehead High School in the Class of 1967. Mr. Bartlett was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Marblehead where he had previously served as an acolyte.

An avid Red Sox fan, Woody loved baseball and was a great pitcher himself, having played in softball and baseball leagues in both Marblehead and Salem. He also had coached Marblehead Little League teams for several years. He also enjoyed playing golf.
Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his son Brett with whom he not only shared, but passed on his passion for baseball.

In addition to his mom and former wife, Mr. Bartlett is survived by his loving son Brett Charles Bartlett of Mesa, AZ; two sisters Lee and her husband Barry Weed and Susan Byors all of Marblehead and thee nephews and a niece Richard Weed, Elisabeth Prescott, Jason and Justin Byors.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday at 2:oo P.M. in St. Michael's Church, 26 Pleasant St., Marblehead. Interment in Waterside Cemetery will be private.
