William Charles Felton, age 58 years, passed away on November 7, 2018 after a courageous battle against cancer.  William is survived by his wife, Michelle (Maurice) Felton.  William was a lifelong resident of Salem.  He graduated from Salem High School Class of 1979 where he was a member of both the football and baseball teams.  Following high school, he served his country as a member of the US Navy.  After his military service he worked over 35 years in the masonary/construction field.  He was an avid sports fan and loved watching and supporting all the Boston Professional teams.  He also loved to cook and fish.  William was a hardworking, generous man who loved his family, especially his three grandsons and his many nieces and nephews.  Surviving him in addition to his loving wife Michelle, is his daughter Jillian Maurice and her three sons Jordan Maurice and Jayce and Cory Dooley, his mother Joanne Felton of Salem, his sister Cheech Garabedian and her husband Scott of Salem, his brother Richard Felton and his wife Sharon of Salem, his brother David Felton and his wife Susan of Lynn, and his brother Charlie and his wife Gena of Salem, several nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.  He was predeceased by his father Irving Felton and his sister Cynthia (Felton) Morneau.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street (corner of North St.), Salem on Wednesday November 14th from 4-7 PM. A funeral service will take place the same night, at the conclusion of visiting hours.
