William M. Cross, 84, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Pilgrim Rehab Center in Peabody after a brief illness.

Born in Lynn to the late Bernard Osgood and Dorothy May (Hanson) Cross, William attended Swampscott High School where he graduated in 1959. He was a long-time resident of Swampscott, having resided in the same house he grew up in all his life. He went on to join the United States Army. After, he worked at General Electric and Amitek, in charge of the shipment of products.

William leaves behind his brother David Cross as well as other friends and family who will miss him dearly.
