Wesley J. Fontaine, age 30 of Salem, died Monday June 4, in Salem Hospital.
Born and raised in Salem, he was graduated from Salem High School in the Class of 1995. Wesley was an accomplished athlete playing basketball in the Salem Recreation League and at Salem High School. He also enjoyed playing soccer and hockey in his childhood.
He enjoyed music and was well known on the North Shore as the lyricist for local well known musician "B.L" (Brian Lamontagne).
Mr. Fontaine is survived by his parents Judith (Fontaine) Rogers and Alfred Rogers of Salem, his two sons Anthony James and Tyler Jordan Fontaine of Winthrop; a brother Julio Moyett of Haverhill and many aunts and uncles including Albert Fontaine Peabody and Gail Hernandez of Lynn; several cousins and numerous friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 P.M. in Cedar Grove Cemetery, 100 Cedar Grove Ave., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, (cor of North St) Salem.
