Warren G. Baughn, age 90, husband for 65 years of Julia T. (Cervoni) Baughn died early Wednesday morning following a brief illness.
Mr. Baughn was born, raised and educated in Spokane, WA the son of the late Earl and Jeanette (Gobalet) Baughn. While serving in the United States Navy he was stationed at Winter Island in Salem, met and married his wife and settled in Salem. For many years he was employed as the Head of Maintenance for Vincent's Chips in Salem until his retirement.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Baughn is survived by three children Peter G and his wife MaryJane Baughn of Rockport, Christine G. and her husband Fred Crossman of Raynham, MA and Andrea G. and her husband Mark Bree of Andover, MA; a sister Vesta Brown of Spokane, WA; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother Lloyd Baughn.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 8:15 A.M from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 A.M. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1 Margin St (on the Salem/Peabody Line) Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 P.M. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
