Tina M. Gil (48) of Beverly passed away on the morning of April 18, 2019 at Beverly Hospital. Tina was the daughter of Robert Gil and his wife Carol Gil. Born in Beverly, Tina attended schools in the neighboring community of Peabody. She later went onto obtain her GED and worked at the Marriott Hotel as a receptionist in their Administrative Department.

Outside of her work, Tina was an avid Boston sports fan as she followed the Red Sox habitually year after year. Tina also cherished the time she spent with animals as she had several dogs and a cat. Above all, Tina will be truly missed by all who knew her as a dear friend and a loving daughter.

Tina is survived by: her father Robert Gil and his wife Carol Gil; her aunt Mary Cunha; her sibling Lenard Smith and his wife Maria, her sibling Joseph Smith; her nieces Raquel, Ashley, and Meghan Smith; her lifelong companion Carrie Bourque; and a large extended family.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will take place from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Thursday April 25, 2019 at the Murphy Funeral Home, located at 85 Federal St. Salem. The funeral mass will be begin at 10:00 AM on Friday April 26, 2019 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, located at 1 Margin St, Peabody, MA 01960.
