Tina (Brophy) Bettencourt, 50, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully, Friday April 1, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, with her family by her side.
She was born in Saugus on December 30, 1965, the daughter of Paul Brophy of Salem and the late Sharon (MacArthur) Brophy.
Tina was raised in Salem and attend Salem public schools. She graduated from Salem High School with the class of 1984. She went on to further her education, graduating from North Shore Community College with an Associate's Degree in Business Management.
She worked as an accountant for many years and at Fashion Bug as a store manager.
In her free time, Mrs. Bettencourt enjoyed being outdoors working on her garden, volunteering her time to better her community, traveling, lounging by her pool and above all else spending time with her beloved family and granddaughter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Joseph Bettencourt of Haverhill, a daughter, Alisha Pascucci and her husband Nicholas of Haverhill, a brother, Michael Brophy and his wife Theresa of Hull, MA, a granddaughter, Sadie Pascucci, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visiting hours on Wednesday, April 6, from 3pm to 7pm at Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St.(cor of North St), Salem, MA 01970. A funeral service will follow the visiting hours at 7pm at the funeral home.
