Timothy Michael Quigley, 57, of Salem, MA passed peacefully October 31 ^st surrounded by family due to complications following a courageous battle with Lymphoma.

He was born on June 25 ^th , 1962 to Gloria and Hugh Quigley in Malden, MA. He grew up in Marblehead and spent his adult life in Salem.

He had an MFA from Vermont college of Fine Arts. He was a professor at Salem State University as well as Wentworth Institute of Technology, Wheelock College, and North Shore Community College. Timothy's award-winning stories have appeared in the Charlton Review, Line Zero Journal of Art and Literature, La Ostra Magazine, Writer's World as well as online publications. His novella, Kissing the Hag, was released by Pixel Hall Press in 2015.

Timothy loved family, friends and students. He loved to travel, he was an avid Red Sox fan, cook and lavish entertainer, he loved nothing more than a house full of family and friends. He loved to advocate for international students and those in need. He spent many years working at Victoria Station in Salem and was well known throughout the city. Tim had a wicked sense of humor and he loved to socialize. He loved music, art, literature, writing.

He is survived by his brother Hugh Jr and wife Rosie of Monterrey, CA, his sister Maura Zuniga of Boca Raton, FL, his brother Patrick of Salem, his Brother Peter of Chichester, NH and his honorary brother and best friend Harry Cahill of Danvers. He is predeceased by Parents, his Grandparents, many aunts and uncles, his Brother Matthew and his first best friend and cousin, Dennis Archdeacon. He adored and loved mentoring his two nieces Isabella Zuniga and Aislinn Quigley. His Goddaughter Lilly and her sister Abriss were a huge part of his life as well as his beloved dog Copper.
