SALEM- Timothy W. Hill (64) of Salem passed away unexpectedly with his family by his side on the evening of Friday February 2, 2018.

Timothy was born and raised in Salem, MA by Walter Hill and Charlotte Matula. He attended Salem schools throughout his childhood. After his education, he developed his craft of contracting and painting many of which can be seen throughout the North Shore still to this day.

Outside of his work, he met the love of his life when he was 20 years old Joan Hill. They met at a local restaurant in Salem. It truly was love at first sight as 1 month later they got married and celebrated their 44 ^th Anniversary this past January.

Timothy left his mark on this earth with the homes he constructed and the people he met. He will be remembered for his kind heart as a great friend, a loving husband, and loving father to his children. He will be dearly missed by all he encountered

Timothy is survived by his 3 children; Heather Hill and son-in-law Donald Grenier of Lowell, Timothy Hill Jr. and his wife Tammy of Salem and Christopher Hill of North Carolina.  He is also survived by his brother Thomas Matula of Salem,  his nephew Noah Pleashic and his granddaughters Charlotte Grenier of Lowell and Olivia Hill of Dracut who meant the World to him.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will take place on Friday February 9, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Murphy Funeral Home, located on 85 Federal St, Salem. Funeral services will be held following the visiting hours on Friday February 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Murphy Funeral Home.
