Timothy B. "Tim" Jamieson, age 54 of Salem, died unexpectedly Saturday in the North Shore Medical Center, Salem.
A lifelong resident of Salem, he was born in Salem, educated in Salem and had graduated from Salem High School in the Class of 1973. For many years he was a well known interior house painter on the North Shore.
He had the gift of a quick wit and infectious sense of humor with which even the right look, could make people laugh. His kindness shone through in his compassion for his fellow man. Tim was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother Margaret (Bradley) (Jamieson) Laskowski of Clearwater, FL; his father Sydney Jamieson of Salem; eight sibling Margaret Campbell and her husband Richard of Freemont, NH, Gregory Jamieson of Salem, Brian Jamieson of Peabody, Brenda Thomann and her husband Richard of Salem, Mary Talbot and her husband William of Kingston, NH, Bradley Jamieson and his wife Maryellen of Rowley, Eileen "DeeDee" Fraser and her husband Robert of Wilmington, NC and Rosemary Martin and her husband William of Georgetown. He was also loved by his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 12, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 135 Lafayette St., Marblehead, Ma. 01945. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. At the family's request there are no visiting hours and interment will be private.
