Obituary

Thomas M. Morse, age 54, of Beverly, died on Friday August 2, 2013 at the Lahey Hospital Burlington, MA, surrounded by family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Danvers the son Clifton and Rosemary (Delpero) Morse of Georgetown, he was raised and educated in Salem schools. Upon his completion of high school, Mr. Morse joined the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving the the country. Following his discharge, he became both a well known and respected roofer servicing clients on the North Shore. He enjoyed his many friends at the ICC in Beverly, was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Most of all, he loved his family and friends, sharing life and all it has to offer, with them.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two children, Danny Morse, AM3, USN of New Orleans and Melissa Morse (Montoya) of Lynn; two brothers and three sisters, Gregory Morse and his wife Diane of Groveland, Linda Pimenta of Manchester, NH, Patricia Tortolini and her husband Peter of Londonderry, NH, Steven Morse and his wife Aurora of North Reading and Rachelle Zani of Phlugerville, TX a grandchild, Erik Montoya , and his former wife, Linda Matherson.

He will be laid to rest alongside his son, Michael Thomas Morse.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, Salem, MA 01970 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody .
