Thomas D. Lupo age 80, husband of Joy (Castle) Lupo died Friday evening in the Grosvenor Park Nursing Home, Salem following a long illness.


Born in Salem the son of the late Peter and Angela (Gregory) Lupo he was raised in Peabody. As he grew up, Mr. Lupo developed a passion for cars. He owned and operated Salem Auto Body for many years, until his retirement.


Dedicated to his family, Mr. Lupo was a Karate Black Belt and also enjoyed kick boxing.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children Gerri Argenzio of Salem, Dulcie Decillis of Peabody, Kim Allen of Salem, Jody Naimo of Peabody, Scott Lupo and Jeff Lupo both of Salem; a brother Gregory Lupo of Salem; 14 grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.


He was predeceased by a brother Chris Lupo.


His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the Old North Church,
