SALEM – Thomas Lules, Jr., age 90 years, husband of Constance (Fortin) Lules, passed away Wednesday July 4, 2018 at the Grosvenor Park Healthcare Center in Salem.  Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Thomas and Rose (Croce) Lules, Sr. He had resided in Lynn, and in Salem for the past 47 years.

He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston.  He entered the United States Army and served his Country during the occupation following WWII.  He returned from the military and completed his education with his Master's Degree from Northeastern University in Industrial Engineering.

Mr. Lules started his career with General Electric and retired from Polaroid Corporation.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at the Salem Municipal Golf Course.  Most especially, he enjoyed being with his grandchildren.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are his children, Claire Diamantides and her husband Bill of Peabody, Thomas C. Lules of Peabody, Alison Lules Cuccio of Salem, his step children Greg Ramstine and his wife Patti of Swampscott, Debbie Brennan and her husband Bob of Peabody, his grandchildren Justin Ramstine, Billy and Alyse Diamantides, Brad Brennan, his sister Adair D'Iorio and her husband Bill of Smithfield, RI, several nephews and one niece.  He was also the brother of the late Anne Toselli.

His funeral will be held from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, corner of North St, Salem on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ann Church, 290 Jefferson Ave, Salem at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours are at the Funeral Home on Tuesday July 10, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m.  Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.  For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, VFW Post , 95 Derby St Salem, MA 01970 .  For additional information or online guest book please call 978-744-0497 or visit www.MurphyFuneralHome.com .
