Beverly……

Thomas A. Libert, age 93, husband of the late Louise Mary (Rafferty) Libert of Beverly, died at the Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Gloucester on Sunday evening.

He was born in Boston the son of the late Joseph A. and Julia A. (Madden) Libert. Mr. Libert was member of the Quarter Century Club at he United Shoe Manufacturing Co. in Beverly where he was employed for over 25 Beverly until retiring in 1975. Involved in the local community, Mr. Libert had volunteered as a Sergeant in the Beverly Auxiliary Police Force as well as the American Red Cross where his daughter Ann in now a volunteer. An outdoorsman, he was also a Lifetime member of the Hamilton-Wenham Rod and Gun Club.

Mr. Libert is survived by a daughter Ann Louise Theriault of Beverly; two sons Robert J. Libert and his wife Linda of Rowley, MA and Michael A Libert and his wife Lorraine of Beaverton, Ohio; A sister in Law Madeline Libert of Beverly; seven grandchildren William, Mary, Matthew, Hilary, Hannah, Holly and Sarah; six great grandchildren Ashley, Robert, Tyler, Connor, Joshua and Erik; his special friend Veronica Belleau, Peggy Vaccaro and Alice Zwicker and many nieces nephews and cousins.

His family also extends a special thanks to all who have taken care of Mr. Libert, especially those at Brightview, Danvers.

He was predeceased by two brothers Francis H J Libert and Joseph A. Libert.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 22 at 7:00 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 251 Cabot St., Beverly, MA 01915. At the family's request there are no visiting hours. Interment will be private.
