Theresa 'Terry' A. O'Grady, age 82, of Salem on February 21, 2016. Terry was born in Salem, MA August 6, 1933 to Peter and Stella Pcheny.

A graduate of Salem High School, Theresa had a long career as a hostess at a variety of local restaurants. She also worked for Long's Jewelers and the Salem Housing Authority. Theresa served as a board member for the Stephen M. O'Grady Scholarship Foundation, and was a member of the Salem Garden Club, the AOH, the Immaculate Conception Parish and her longtime Couple's Club.

She is the mother of Paul O'Grady, Beth O'Grady and the late Stephen M. O'Grady, all of Salem, MA. She leaves her sisters Edna (Pcheny) Walsh of Salem, and Alice (Pcheny) Ainsworth of New Mexico, a brother William Pcheny of Peabody and her companion Edward 'Butchie' Barlow of Lynn. She was predeceased by her husband John O'Grady, and her parents Stella and Peter Pcheny, her brothers Walter Pcheny and John Pcheny. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and cherished lifelong friends. Those who wish to make a donation in memory of Theresa may do so to the Stephen M. Visiting hours will be on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 4:00pm-7:00pm in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (corner of North St.) Salem, MA 01970. Her funeral service will be held Saturday February 27, 2016 at 10AM at Murphy Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery Salem, MA.
