Theresa M. (Levesque) Ogasian, age 88, wife of the late John L. Ogasian, died Tuesday afternoon November 22, 2016 at the Grosvenor Park Nursing Center in Salem.
Born in Salem, Theresa was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Marie (Paradise) Levesque. She was raised in Salem on Castle Hill and attended St. Chretien School. She continued her education and became a hair dresser for over 46 years. Theresa was the owner and operator of Terry's Beauty Salon on Raymond Road in Salem.
Theresa was a long time communicant of Ste. Anne Church where she was a member of the choir and was also a canter for the Church for several years. She was very devoted to her family.
Surviving her are her sons, John Ogasian and his wife Debra of Dover, NH, Mark J. Ogasian and his wife Sandra of Peabody, her 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and her good friend Brian Belanger of Salem.
Visiting hours will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem on Monday November 28, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 P.m. Her funeral will be held from the Murphy Funeral Home on Tuesday November 29, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Avenue, Salem at 10:00 A.M. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
