Salem….

Teresa A (Flynn) Geary, age 92, wife of the late John H. Geary of Salem died on at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers following a brief illness.

Born, raised and educated in Salem the daughter of the late Michael J. and Mary E. (Stamper) Flynn, she was a graduate of St. James High School. A devoted wife and mother, family was the center of her life. After raising her children, Mrs. Geary had been employed by the City of Salem, as a Teacher's Aid at the Bates School for several years.

Mrs. Geary is survived by four children, Alice and her husband John Munroe, Mary Louise and her husband Walter Mielcarz, Christine and her husband Peter Louf and Patricia Anketell all of Salem; four grandchildren Keith and his wife Jennifer Munroe of Derry, NH, Michael Munroe and Lauren St. Pierre of Salem, Craig and his wife Melissa Mielcarz of Somerville and Kristen and her husband Andrew Meegan of Salem; three great grandchildren Zachary and Corey Munroe and Amelia Meegan; a sister Mary Safchuk of Dover, NH as well as her many friends including those at the Ruane Residence, especially Shirley Salloway for her compassion and guidance.

She was predeceased by a grandson, John Munroe.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 30, 2011 in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St (cor of North St) Salem from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon to be followed by graveside funeral services in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
