Taryn A. Leonard, age 25, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening in her Jupiter, Fl home.
She is the daughter of Robert Leonard of Swampscott and Taafe Thompson Ezekiel and the step-daughter of William Ezekiel of Jupiter, Fl. Taryn is also the grandaughter of Marceline Granger Thompson and the late Francis Joseph Thompson of Salem.
She leaves behind her loving twin sister, Alanna Leonard of Salem and her younger brother, Granger Leonard of Jupiter, FL and many close relatives.
Taryn was born in Brookline. She lived in Lynnfield and Swampscott through high school. Taryn moved to Florida in 2002 to live her life by the ocean, as she had always dreamed. She enjoyed drawing, swimming, boating and tournament fishing. She found joy and happiness in the simplest pleasures. Taryn touched many hearts in her brief life, and was loved by all who met her.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, September 24th at 9:15 A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M in St Thomas the Apostle Church, 1 Margin St., Peabody (on the Salem Peabody line.) Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 P.M. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
