Salem – Susan "Suzanne" Dubois passed away on December 28, 2019 after a long illness. She was born in Salem, and graduated from Salem High School in the class of 1974. She started her career as a cook at Major Magleashe's Pub, and then moved into the travel agency business at Filene's Basement Travel Agency where she worked for many years until they closed.

Susan loved the beach and reading, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her niece and great niece. She moved to New Hampshire and lived there for 30 years, and only returned to Salem a year and a half ago, to live with her sister.

Surviving Susan is her brother Thomas DuBois and his wife Joy of Beverly, her sister Jeannette DuBois of Salem, her niece Stephanie DuBois and her fiancé Preston Holden, her nephew Thomas DuBois Jr and his wife Sara, her grandnieces and grandnephews Teagen Holden, Gracie, Adian and Thomas DuBois III and several cousins.  She was also the sister of the late George DuBois, Jr.

At the request of the family, services were private. Arrangements were handled by the Murphy Funeral Home in Salem.
