Born in Red Bank, NJ, the daughter of Karen Koerner Carpenter of Swampscott, MA and Stephen E. Carpenter of Arundel, ME. Her love of people had become apparent at an early age, as witnessed by becoming a member of the Screen Actors Guild as a toddler and appearing in 13 national commercials. She then attended the Well School, where she discovered a deep passion for learning. She went on to attend South Meadow School, followed by Monadnock Area Cooperative School.
A graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, MA, Stephanie had received her degree as a Licensed Massage Therapist from MacIntosh College six years ago. Most recently she had established a practice, Back Bay Acupuncture and Massage, with her beloved friend and business partner, David Appleton, in Boston, MA. Her life had become complete, as she helped to heal clients both physically and mentally with their daily physical challenges as well as exceeding their athletic goals from her care. The testimonials on her website truly speak for themselves acknowledging her talent. She had an amazing heart and was always thinking of others, a quality of her caring personality for all she touched in life. A fine example of this is as some of her clients' lifestyles changed with pregnancy, Stephanie earned her certificate in pregnancy massage to continue to accommodate them.
Stephanie had a flair and talent for fashion and loved to show that by coordinate hers and other's outfits. Smart and curious, she was a life learner who enjoyed reading, movies and the arts.
In addition to her proud parents, she is survived by her loving sister and best friend Shenin Carpenter, RN of Somerville, MA, her uncle and Godfather, Karl Koerner of Warwick, her aunt and Godmother Renee Marchand of Wilmington, and by her faithful friend and companion, her dog "Tessie."
