Stella Almeida, 98 years of age, passed away on Thursday January 26, 2023, surrounded by her family at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Frank Almeida of Peabody.

Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Genevive (Wictor) and Anthony Kolodziej. Stella was a graduate of Peabody High School and she worked for Sylvania in Danvers for over 30 years.

Stella is survived by her son Ronald Almeida and his wife Catherine of Peabody and their children Matthew Almeida and his wife Gigi Szekley of Florida, Elizabeth Duda and her husband Paul and their children Jack and Kate of Salem, MA; her daughter Janice Lee and her late husband Richard and their daughter Stephanie Lee of Salem, MA.

Stella was one of 10 siblings and she is survived by only her living sibling Alexander Kolodziej and his wife Sandra of Salem, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
