Sharon M. (Amirault) Baratz, age 46, wife of Jeffrey A. Baratz, died Tuesday evening at the North Shore Medical Center – Salem Hospital. Born in Lynn, daughter of Jean H. and Mary M. (Coyne) Amirault, she was raised and educated in Lynn. Sharon was a graduate of Lynn Vocational Technical High School.

Sharon was employed as a customer service representative in a photography studio for many years. She was an avid reader and loved photography. But most especially, Sharon was a loving mother and wife and was a very caring person. She loved her animals, especially her dog Zoey.

Surviving Sharon in addition to her husband are her daughter, Jessica Baratz of Peabody; 12 brothers and sisters, Michael Amirault, Paul Amirault and his wife Nancy all of Lynn; Daniel Amirault of Malden; Joseph Amirault of Methuen; Martin Amirault and his wife Jean of Salisbury; John Amirault and his wife Valerie, James Amirault and his wife Linda, Kathy Landry and her husband Robert, Susan Amirault, Deborah Landry and her husband Raymond, Denise Balser and her husband Stuart all of Saugus; Donna Rogers of Dover, NH; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Sharon was also the sister of the late Patrick Amirault.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 12 noon at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (corner of North St.) in Salem. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Peabody. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service at the Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
