Salem – O'Keefe, Sean was born April 26, 1978 in Gardner, MA, and passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 2.
Sean leaves a lifetime of memories and love for his husband, Atthapon (Artie) Homsuwan, with whom he shared a wonderful life.
He was the oldest son of Bob and Peggy O'Keefe of Biddeford, ME. He leaves his sister, Katy Swanson Turner and partner, Tim Hansen of Gardner, MA and his brother Neil O'Keefe and wife Samantha of Rutland, MA.
Sean leaves a legacy of love for his nieces and nephews, Haely Swanson, Ella Swanson, Olivia Turner, Connor O'Keefe and Gabe O'Keefe. They meant the world to Sean.
Sean worked at Medtronic in Danvers as a Senior Product
Development Technician, where he leaves countless wonderful friends and co-workers.
He was a 2001 graduate of Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH.
Sean had many hobbies but loved to travel and planned to vacation to far away lands. Mostly, Sean enjoyed spending his time with family and friends. Sean loved a good party.
In place of the traditional Irish wake, friends and family are cordially invited to share laughter and stories at his home at 28 Dearborn St., Salem on May 1 from 12 to 2. Rain date will be Sunday.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks to perform a good deed for someone in need, by paying it forward. Sean was a man of peace, and passionate about giving selflessly. For additional information and online guest book please visit
