Sara Felton Clark Bruins of Marblehead passed away peacefully on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Bertram House in Swampscott.  Sara was born May 10, 1922 in Manchester, New Hampshire to the late James Briggs and Beatrice (Pike) Felton.

Sara attended Colby College and joined the Navy in 1941.  She served in Washington D.C. in the U.S. Naval Communication Intelligence Office.  After marrying Dudley Rogers Clark, Sara settled in Marblehead where she raised her four sons.   Sara was very active and athletic spending many memorable years playing tennis at the Eastern Yacht Club, weekends skiing in New Hampshire and was a long-time member of Tedesco Country Club where she was a member of the 18-hole woman's golf league. Sara was also an avid bridge player.  In later years, Sara spent many winters in Naples, Florida where she enjoyed painting lessons, walking the beach, sunsets and her many friends.

Sara was predeceased by her former husband, Dudley Rogers Clark, her husband Robert W. Bruins and her much-loved companion of 20 years, George Miller Breed; as well as, her brothers, James Briggs Felton and Dudley Pike Felton.  Sara is survived by her sister Jane Felton Parker of Wellesley; and her four sons, Briggs Rogers (Wendy) Clark of Littleton, NH, Charles Dudley (Gale) Clark, Jeffrey Fuller Clark and Bradley Sumner Clark all of Marblehead.  Sara also leaves her grandchildren, Emily Clark of Boston, Jessica (Matthew) Merritt and Kelley Clark of Marblehead, Kristen Clark of Charlestown, Tyler Clark of San Diego, CA,; Jennifer Clark of Savannah, GA and Nathaniel Clark of Rock Island, IL and two great-grandchildren, Cooper Merritt and Waylon Jacob of Marblehead.   She also leaves many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.  The family has chosen no services at this time.  For additional information or online guestbook please visit www.MurphyFuneralHome.com or call 978-744-0497.
