Born in Beverly Farms, MA the fifth of seven children a graduate of St Margaret's Catholic School, a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend passed peacefully on January 29, 2022.

She leaves behind her son Bob Wiseman, her daughter Nancy Kiley (Mike) her grandsons, Will and Charlie, numerous nieces, nephews and her dearest friend of 75 years, Edie Colbert. She was predeceased by her six siblings and her husband of 70 years, Bill Wiseman.

Ruth was a gracious, loving woman, a hard worker, a loyal confidant, and a true friend. She loved to care for others and her family and friends always came first.

A lover of the outdoors, she downhill skied, cross country skied, hiked, and gardened. Ruth loved travelling, sailing, and seeing as much of the world as she could, always with her husband by her side.

Ruth and Bill were always busy doing something, building a second home in NH, entertaining friends, remodeling the house or re-working their beautiful yard. They shared a 70-year love and were completely devoted to one another.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will take place on Thursday February 3, 2022, at the Murphy Funeral Home, located at 85 Federal St Salem, MA, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
