Obituary

Roseann (McGregor) Callahan, age 93, beloved wife of the late Richard Callahan, passed away on July 11, 2020 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Roseann was born in Newburyport to John William McGregor and Elizabeth (Murphy) McGregor on May 7, 1927.  She attended Immaculate Conception Parish School and graduated from Newburyport High School.

Roseann worked at the Towne Lyne House Restaurant on the Lynnfield/Peabody line for almost 40 years. Roseann was very artistic. She love to crochet, knit, sew, sculpt and draw.  Roseann helped organize and run the White Elephant table at the St James Christmas Bazaar for many years.  She loved browsing antique shops and flea markets.

Roseanne is survived by her son Richard Callahan of Danvers, her daughter Colleen Callahan of Salem, her grandchildren: James, Justin, Timmy, Robert, Sarah, Rachael, Rebecca and Hannah, and her siblings Connie Berard, Margie Gilman, Jim McGregor. and his wife June.

Funeral services will be private due to the COVID-19 pandemic.   Memorial contributions in Roseann's honor can be made to Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers 01923.
