Rose (Zaneti) Martinez, age 57 of Salem, died early Sunday morning at Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston.
Born in Greece, she moved to the North Shore in her late teens. Mrs. Martinez married shortly thereafter and began her family while living in Lynn. They then moved to Peabody where her family was educated. More recently she has resided in Salem.
One of her favorite pastimes was watching movies.
She is survived by three children Janet Z. Morse and her fiancé Nick Swindell, John Rapaj, and Catherine Turcotte and five grandchildren Alina, Trinity, Audrey, Rosie and Richie all of Salem. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., Salem.
