Salem – Ronald J. Coleman, aged 81, passed away on March 30 th , 2021. Ronald was born in Beverly on May 14, 1939 to Carson Coleman and Sarah (McClelland) Coleman. Ronald went on to serve his country as a member of the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He came back to the North Shore and later settled on Charter Street in Salem in the last few years, and became an altar server at the Immaculate Conception Church for 10 years, and was a faithful parishioner there. Ron was a crossing guard for the Salem School department for over 15 years at the Bentley School and Collins Junior High.
Ronald was a friend of Bill W for over 40 years. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents. Ronald was truly loved by all and will be dearly missed by all who knew him, as he was a kind hearted man who was so giving and helpful to all.
A Memorial Mass in Ronald's name will be held on Friday, April 30 th , 2021 at 10 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church, located at 15 Hawthorne Boulevard, Salem MA.
