Roger Weston Curran, age 78 of Salem died at home unexpectedly on Sunday, December 29, 2013. Born in Lynn, one of six children, he was the son of the late Roy E. and Cora B. (Horne) Curran, he was raised and educated in Lynn. Following his graduation from high school, he served in the United States Army. Following his discharge, Roger worked in the local shoe industry for many years. Later, he was employed by John Boris at Essex Office Associates in Salem until his retirement.

He is survived by two brothers, Robert E. Curran of Salem and George E. Curran of Burlington. He was predeceased by a brother Roy E. Curran and two sisters, Rita M Curran Lorette and Nancy J. Cann.
