Robert E. Rhodes, 80, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Salem Hospital due to complications from Alzheimer's Disease.  Bob was a long-time resident of Salem.

Born, raised and educated in Lynn, Bob was the son of the late Forrest E. and Josephine (Flynn) Rhodes.  He graduated from Lynn English High School in 1959.

Bob was a long-time member of Teamsters, Local 42 and drove a truck for Cressey-Dockham and Supervalue.  He spent many hours at the Salem YMCA where he enjoyed swimming and exercising.

Bob is survived by his wife, Cynthia with whom he shared almost 58 years of marriage, and his two children, a son, Keith and his wife Michele Rhodes of Swampscott, and a daughter, Denise and her husband Lawrence Perrault of Salem, NH.  He is also survived by six grandchildren, Jenna, Evan and Kendall Rhodes and Joshua, Laura and Jared Perrault.  He is survived by a brother, Kenneth Rhodes and was predeceased by a sister, Joanne St. Charles.
