Obituary

Robert J Raybon, aged 78, passed away at the Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness on March 15, 2021. Born in Arlington MA to Lillian E Raybon (Anno) and Jesse B Raybon on September 9, 1942, Robert lived in Massachusetts his entire life, and his education included Newman Prep and technical school.
One of his proudest achievements in life was enlisting in the United States Army Reserve. When he wasn't spending his weekends training in the Reserves to keep his skills sharp, Robert was a research assistant at Polaroid, where he retired from. He devoted his entire life to Polaroid and was an admirer of Edwin Land, who was a family friend.
Robert is survived by his cousins; Elaine Byrne of Newbury, Laura Warren of Tewksbury, Richard Arno of Salem and Joseph Arno of Danvers. He is also survived by his best friend, Roy Johnson of Chelmsford and many other loving friends and relatives.
