Scarborough, ME – Robert Paul Oatman, aged 92 years, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Scarborough Terrace Assisted Living facility in Scarborough, ME.  Son of the late Charles S. and Blanche (Morrison) Oatman, and husband of the late Shirley M. (Lister) Oatman, Robert was born October 21, 1925 and was raised in Marblehead, MA.  He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II and was a flight officer and pilot.  He was honorably discharged in October of 1945. Robert was a proud 33 ^rd degree Ancient Free and Accepted Mason.

A graveside service for Robert will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:30AM at the Waterside Cemetery, 294 West Shore Drive, Marblehead, MA 01945.  Arrangements are being held by the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (Corner of North St.), Salem, MA 01970.
