Robert Dolliver of Salem, age 74, husband of the late Jeannine Dolliver, passed away Wednesday evening Nov. 25th at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers surrounded by family.
Robert, son of the late Robert and Agnes (Thibault) was raised and educated in Salem and graduated from Salem High School in the Class of 1959. For many years, he was employed by Salem Laundry and later at Whyte's Laundry as a driver. Robert was an avid New England sports fan, enjoyed the ocean and the holidays.
Robert is survived by sisters, Ellen Dolliver Vaillancourt and her husband Henry of Leesburg, FL, Donna Dolliver McIntyre and her husband Ronald of Danvers, Joanne Bogiages of Danvers, Diane McGrane of Danvers, Paula Geist and her husband Ronald of Danvers, and Mary Dion and her husband Scott of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and brothers Donald McGrane of Newton, NH and Kenneth McGrane and his wife Darlene of Peabody. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. Mr. Dolliver was predeceased by two brothers, David Dolliver and Paul McGrane.
His Memorial Service will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home 85 Federal St. (cor. of North St.), Salem on Tuesday December 1st at 6 PM . Visiting hours will take place on the same day from 3 to 7 PM.
