Rita E. (Bouchard) Andruszkiewicz, age 88, wife of Boleslaus Andruszkiewicz died in the Brentwood Nursing Home, Rockingham NH Thursday afternoon.
Born in Salem the daughter of the late Adelard and Ella (Robinson) Bouchard she was educated in Salem schools. Once she completed her education Mrs. Andruskiewicz became employed by General Electric River Works Plant in Lynn as and administrative assistant until marrying and beginning their family.
A loving wife and dedicated stay at home mom, Mrs. Andruszkiewicz was very active in her children's activities while they were growing up and became active at Bishop Fenwick High School during their education. Family was always at the center of her life with her children and grandchildren and when time permitted she would enjoy candlepin bowling in various local leagues.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Andruszkiewicz is survived by three children Peter Andruszkiewicz and his wife Danielle of Atlanta, GA, Paul Andruszkiewicz and his wife Julie of Springfield, MA and Patricia "Patty" Falconer and her husband Steve of Derry, NH; a sister Lillian Bouchard of Danvers; eight grandchildren Molly, Peter, Grace and Elizabeth Andruszkiewicz of Atlanta, GA, Tim and John Andruszkiewicz of Springfield, MA and Sam and Harry Falconer of Derry, NH and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother Henry Bouchard and two sisters Elizabeth Poussard and Theresa Baxter.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:15 A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. James Church, 161 Federal St., Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
