Obituary

Richard L. Stebbins of Salem, formerly of Epsom N.H., died unexpectedly due to medical complications on Saturday, April 7 th , 2018 at the age of 54.
Richard was born on July 7 th , 1963 at Fort Belvoir, in Fairfax County, Virginia to Ronald and Marilyn Stebbins. He spent his adolescent years growing up in New Hampshire where he attended Epsom Central School and Pembroke Academy. Richard was a master mechanic for 30 years, his area of expertise was in large scale diesel equipment for both land and marine use. His trade gave him various employment opportunities across the country which aligned with his search for adventure. Richard was a unique individual who enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing in Salem Harbor and listening to variety of music. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Richard is survived by his parents; his sister Kristen Bingham and her husband Matthew, Epsom, NH, his sister Jessica Stebbins, and her husband David Collins of Salem, Ma,  his brother Derek Stebbins and his wife Susan of New Hampton, NH. He also leaves behind his nephews, Alex Collins, Jarrod Bingham, Mitchell Stebbins, David Shaner and nieces Meredith Bingham, Abygeal Stebbins and Hannah Shaner.
Arrangements: Visiting hours for Richard will take place on April 24 th from 4pm to 8pm at Murphy's Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street, (corner of North Street), Salem Ma 01970. A funeral mass by Reverend Richard Roberge will be held on April 25 th at 10:00am, at the Christ the King Parish, on 72 South Main Street, Concord, NH 03301. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Interment will be private and scheduled for a later date.
