Richard C. Erekson, 79, passed away on Saturday January 13, 2024, after a lengthy illness. He was the loving husband to Valerie Erekson with whom he shared 59 beautiful years of marriage together.

Richard was born in Lynn on September 2, 1944, to the late Shirley and Orrion Erekson. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy and worked at General Electric for almost 40 years before retiring. He loved spending time with his family, enjoyed photography and watching his favorite teams, The New England Patriots and The Boston Red Sox.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his son, Richard V. Erekson, his daughter, Maureen Erekson, his grandson Corey Erekson, as well as his many other brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
