Raynette Effie Raynor peacefully departed this life on January 19, 2021. She was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 14, 1957, the seventh of eight children born to John H.D. and Harriet G. Raynor. Raynette was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Roxbury, Massachusetts. She confessed Jesus Christ and was baptized at St Patrick's Church in Roxbury, MA. Raynette also worshipped in Lynn, Massachusetts. A resident of Salem Massachusetts, Raynette formerly worked at Salem State University, where she was revered for her caring nature and hospitality. Raynette was also a staff member of the YMCA in Lynn Massachusetts and is warmly regarded and remembered. She had an enthusiasm and appreciation for antique furniture, heirloom jewelry, rare tableware, vintage clothing, and other collectibles. Raynette befriended people everywhere she went. She will be remembered for her generosity, caring nature, uniqueness, and cheer. Raynette leaves her cherished son, Eddie Raynor, seven siblings: Mark S. Raynor, High Point, NC; Joan G. Thompson, Milford, NH; John H.D. Raynor II, Syracuse, NY; Diane Critchlow, Dorchester, MA; Rev. Mario V. Raynor, Sharon, MA; Thomas A. Raynor, Randolph, MA; Lawrence W. Raynor, Randolph, MA; 3 sisters-in-law; Sarah Raynor, High Point N; Rev. Nancy Raynor, Sharon, MA; Melvina Raynor, Syracuse, NY; and Donna Moore-Raynor, Randolph, MA; and a host of nieces and nephews who adored her, and many loyal friends.
