Raymond F. Pinkham, 66, of Salem, died Saturday, March 6, after a year- long battle with cancer. Born June 24, 1943 in Dover Foxcroft, ME, to the late Joseph and Idona Pinkham, he was the husband of Sandra (McEwen) Pinkham with whom he shared 45 wonderful years of marriage.
He worked over 40 years at H & H Propeller Shop in Salem, MA. He enjoyed golfing, Keno and taking trips to Foxwoods Casino. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters and their spouses: Leslie and Richard Marcoux of Hudson, NH, Kim Pinkham and Par Pardelli of Haverhill, MA, and Honora and Steve Goodridge of Beverly, MA; five grandchildren: Cassie Pinkham of Salem, MA, and Steven, Emily, Adam and Zachary Goodridge of Beverly, MA; five siblings: Marlene Erickson, Sonny Stitham, Glenda Heckbert and Sandra Green, all of Maine, and Skip Pinkham of Florida. He was pre-deceased by his sister Carol Ann Pinkham.
He was also the brother-in-law of Betty McEwen, Teresa McEwen and Heidi McEwen all of Peabody, MA, Charlie and Jody McEwen of Hampstead, NH, Peggy and Jack Poirier of Dale City, VA, Judy and Dale Ryan of Danvers, MA, and Jimmy and Angela McEwen of Leonardstown, MD, and uncle to several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send a very special thank you to their cousin Jeanie Hernando of Salem and the Hospice of the North Shore for all of their help and support over the last few months.
