Obituary

Priscilla Andrews Ulutas from Marblehead, MA passed away peacefully on June 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Salem Hospital after a brief illness. She was born at Salem Hospital on November 17, 1932.  Priscilla was the daughter of the late Allen Butler Andrews and Laura Goodwin Andrews. She was the loving wife of Dincer Ulutas with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.

Priscilla graduated from Marblehead High School class of 1950.  After graduation she attended Burdett College in Lynn, and then worked at GE for 10 years.  She also worked for U.S. Foreign Services, USAID  in Ankara, Turkey and  then for USAID South America Desk in Washington, DC. Dincer and Priscilla married in Turkey in March of 1966 and in May of 1966 they returned to Marblehead to start a family.  Priscilla later worked as a tour guide at The House of Seven Gables in Salem and Jeremiah Lee Mansion in Marblehead.

She is survived by her three children:  Christopher A. Ulutas and his wife Andrea from Haverhill, Todd K. Ulutas and his wife Elizabeth of Marblehead and Kimberly N. Henry of Marblehead, and three grandchildren Paige Ashley Baty, Cody Bo Henry and Alexis Victoria Ulutas.  She will be greatly missed by her family and many wonderful friends and neighbors.

Visiting hours will take place on Wednesday July 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home, located at 85 Federal St. Salem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452 in Priscilla's memory.
