Priscilla B. (Boujoukos) Cotgageorge, age 74, wife for 46 years of the late Attorney James "Jim" Cotgageorge of Marblehead died at home Sunday afternoon, August 5, 2007 following a brief illness surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Cotgageorge was born in Winthrop the daughter of the late Arthur and Constance (Kapopoulos) Boujoukos, and raised in Marblehead. Following her graduation from Marblehead High School in the Class of 1950m, she was graduated from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School and became employed by Massachusetts General Hospital as a lab and morgue secretary.
In 1959 she and her late husband marred, began a family and was a wonderful homemaker caring for her family. An active member of St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody, Mrs. Cotgageorge later earned her Real Estate License and worked alongside her husband as his legal secretary.
Devoted to her family with whom she enjoyed spending time with, she enjoyed gardening and doing the Boston Globe daily crossword puzzle. She was very social and enjoyed a good party.
She and her husband enjoyed to travel internationally and in their retirement wintered in Marco Island, Florida.
Mrs. Cotgageorge is survived by three children, Jamie Ciampa and her husband Christopher of Marblehead, Michael Cotgageorge and his wife Jennifer of Marblehead and J. Edward Cotgageorge and his wife Lauren of Durango, CO; a brother George Boujoukos of Marco Island, FL; four grandchildren Jones, Evan, Emily Rose and Haley and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother John Boujoukos.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10:15 A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by funeral services at 11:00 A.M. in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 7 Paleologos St, Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead.
