Marblehead- Philip Fairbanks Whitney (99), of Marblehead, passed away at the Alliance Health at Devereux. Phil was predeceased by his wife Alice (Conway) Whitney.

Phil graduated from Salem High School in 1942, where he went onto enlist in the US Navy during World War II and served on the USS Fulton. Upon his return home, Phil met the love of his life Alice and the two were married in 1948. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
