Philip R Guerrette, 91, peacefully passed away early on Sunday morning June 6, 2021 at his home in Salem.  Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Ludger and Laura (LeBreque) Guerrette and brother to Rita Kesick of Florida.  Philip was the beloved husband, best friend and high school sweetheart of his one and only love of 66 years, the late Mary Patricia Guerrette (Griffin) of Salem.

Phil was a graduate of Salem High School 1948 and continued his education at Salem State University to earn a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration. He went on to be a well-respected Manager at Gillette in Andover, MA until his retirement in 1984.

Phil was a talented wood worker and gardener; he enjoyed traveling especially his trips to Disney with his wife and family.  Yet above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren, who were the highlight of his life.  "Bampy" will be deeply missed.

Loving father of Katherine M. Guerrette of Salem, Lauren M. Hosman and her husband Albert of Kingston NH, Stephen D. Guerrette and his wife Keri-Beth Guerrette of Lynn.  He was the proud grandfather to Michael E. Guerrette of East Boston, Matthew P. Guerrette of Fitchburg, Lily-Blair Guerrette of Lynn, Jennifer L. (Hosman) and Nathan Peaster of Converse, TX, Albert L. and Elizabeth Hosman of Plastow NH, Mickayla M. DiLorenzo of Colrain, MA, four great grandchildren Maegan, Natalie and Nolan Peaster and Zachary Hosman.  He was pre-deceased by his son Brian, brother Leo and brother-in-laws Jack and Robert Griffin. He will fondly be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass which will be held at Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave, Salem on Saturday June 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM.  There are no visiting hours.
