Pauline M. (Thibault) Connors, age 82, of Salem, wife of the late Philip J. Connors of Salem died Tuesday May 11, 2010 in the Grosvenor Park Nursing Home.
Born and raised in Salem the daughter of the late Joseph T. and Josephine (Adams) Thibault, she was educated at St. James Grammar and High School. Following her graduation from high school she was employed by the Holyoke Insurance Company in Salem until she and her late husband began their family.
Mrs. Connors was a loving wife and mother and also a proud grandmother. Later in life she enjoyed playing bingo, especially at the K of C in Peabody.
She is survived by two daughters Paula and her husband Michael Williams of South Berwick, ME and Julie and her husband Richard Sakowich of Salem; three grandchildren Connor and Cameron Sakowich both of Salem and Liam Williams of South Berwick, ME; two sisters Mary Dooley and Agnes McGrane both of Salem and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters Eileen Cody and Katherine Moore and a brother Lawrence Thibault.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 8:15 A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 A.M. in St. Anne Church, 292 Jefferson Ave, Salem, MA 01970. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
