Obituary
Paul Murphy of Beverly MA, formally of Santa Maria, CA, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016. He was 62.
He was raised and educated in Dorchester and graduated from Boston Tech. He was later employed by New England Telephone until retiring.
Paul was an avid carpenter and enjoyed restoring houses. He enjoyed his family and friends and would do anything for people. He would give you the shirt off his back.
Paul leaves his son, Grant Murphy of Beverly, his former wife and close friend, Denise Murphy of Beverly, his mother Mary Murphy of Santa Maria California, his sister Mary Lou Murphy, his sister Susan Murphy-Sedivec, and his brothers Joe, Tim, Jim, Rick, and Michael Murphy. He also leaves his aunt Katie Vaughan, his dear friends Moe and Joe Trocki, Mark Wheeler and many friends.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 10AM at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (corner of North St.) Salem, MA 01970. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment will be private.
