Paul V. Malloy, age 55 of Lowell died unexpectedly at home on Thursday April 9th, 2009.
Born, raised and educated in Bronx, NY the son of the late Kenneth and Joan (Sherman) Malloy, he received his engineering degree from Franklin Institute. For over thirty years, Mr. Malloy was employed by New England Power Co.
An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Malloy enjoyed hiking.
He is survived by two children Kathryn and Christopher Malloy both of Salem; four brothers Kenneth Malloy of VA, Sean Malloy of OR, Michael Malloy of AZ and Patrick Malloy of NC; a sister Marybeth Malloy of VA and many nieces and nephews.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., Salem.
