Patricia M. Gilbride, 63 years old, died unexpectedly at her home in Swampscott on January 1, 2016. She is survived by her mother Nancy M. Gilbride of Swampscott and her sister Anne C. Gilbride of Marblehead and is preceded in death by her father Andrew J. Gilbride. Pat had a life-long love for learning and helping others. For over twenty years she was instrumental in raising and nurturing countless children on the North Shore as a professional in-home child care giver. As a Master Level Kripalu Yoga teacher Pat touched the lives of many. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, students and colleagues alike. A passionate traveler she was most at home on a sunny far-away beach with a book.
Her Funeral will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (corner of North St.) Salem on Friday January 8th at 7PM. Calling hours will be held at the Funeral Home from 5PM to 7PM on the day of the funeral. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
