Salem….
Pamela A. "Sunny" (Kulik) (Sheldon) Harris, age 64 of Salem, formerly of Hamilton, died at home early Saturday morning surrounded by her family. She and her husband, Carl Harris have shared the past 28 years together.
Born in Salem the daughter of the late Joseph and Edna (Zdanowicz) Kulik, Mrs. Harris was educated in Salem schools. Following her graduation from Salem High School she received her Bachelor's degree from Bentley College and became on of the first female managers for Beneficial Finance in their Salem Office. Mrs. Harris' career lasted more than 20 years until her retirement in 1985 when she and her husband married in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where they have continued to spend the winters.
From 1985 until 2000 she and her husband had also traveled around the country managing furniture liquidation sales.
A kind, caring and loving person she was unbelievably well liked by everyone she knew and met. She truly enjoyed people and delighted in her drawings and oil color painting and worshiping the sun. She also enjoyed animals including horses and dogs which that had kept at home as well as race horses known under the name "P and P Stables" which had raced in New England for several years.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter Melissa "Missy" Sheldon of Beverly; two brothers, Joseph Kulik of Blaisville, GA and Thaddeus "Ted" Kulik of Groveland; a sister Marsha Geanoulis of Danvers; three step sons Steven M. Harris and his wife Margie of Beverly, Ronald A. Harris of Londonderry, NH and David S. Harris and his wife Jeannie of Danvers; a sister in law Beverly Kramer of Marblehead; two grandchildren Trevor Wilson and Charlie Sheldon of Beverly and four step grandchildren Samantha and Stefanie Harris of Beverly, Michael Harris of Danvers and Sarah Harris of Londonderry, NH and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 5 at 9:15 A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St James Church, 161 Federal St., Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M. Interment will be in Sons of Jacob Cemetery, Danvers. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Avenue
