Olga O. DiVeglia, age 94, loving wife of Carmine E. DiVeglia, passed away peacefully at the Lafayette Nursing home in Marblehead on April 8, 2023.

Born in Grieskirchen, Austria, she was the daughter of Bruno and Maria (Umdesch) Kroll. She was raised and grew up in Berchtesgaden Germany. Working as a hairdresser at the Berchtesgadener Hotel Hof, she met her husband Carmine while he was in the service and their love story began.

Olga was a beautiful, kind, and nurturing soul who was always happy and smiling. She loved to entertain and cook for family and friends, especially large Sunday dinners where family gathered weekly. There was always a warm welcome to whomever entered her home. Olga loved singing, listening to music, swimming in the pool with her grandchildren, and playing cards. She also enjoyed her many long car rides with her husband across the New England states. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Olga is survived by four daughters Susanna Haibon-Young and her husband Jim of Port Richey, Fla.; Toni DiVeglia and her fiance Ken Walley of Danvers; Linda Marmen and her husband Richard of Homosassa, Fla.; Gena Felton and her husband Charles of Salem; two sons, Alfred DiVeglia and his wife Betsy of Beaufort, SC; Carmine DiVeglia Jr. of East Kingston, NH; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Carmine and her parents Maria and Bruno Kroll.
