Nicole Hoa Huynh age 30, loving mother of Solomon Nash, died Wednesday afternoon in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers following a long illness with cancer.
Born in Viet Nam, she was raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan the daughter of Hung and Huong Ngoc ( Nguyen) Le. Following her graduation from Ann Arbor High School, she received her Associates Degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburg, PA. She and her son's father, Athos Nash then settled in Philadelphia, PA where their son, Solomon was born. Shortly after his birth, Nicole was diagnosed with cancer and decided to return with her son to Ann Arbor Michigan where she became employed by Aveda Salon.
As her cancer progressed, Nicole moved to the North Shore for medical treatment. After suffering a coma, she was determined to provide for her son and pursue a career in beauty and fashion. She received her esthetician's license from Elizabeth Grady and took great pride and joy consulting for beauty makeovers as well as wardrobes.
A spiritual person, Nicole was admired by others for the sense of direction she could provide. Her aura shined through her warm and magnetic personality. This combined with Nicole's unique, independent charisma allowed her to provide spiritual guidance to many.
An artist, Nicole enjoyed food, gardening vegetable and flowers, fruit, cooking, fine dining, and admiring all art.
Mrs. Huynh is also survived by her biological father Hoang Huynh of Boston; two brothers Viet and Peter Huynh of Beverly, her maternal grandmother Kiem Nguyen of Viet Nam; her paternal grandmother Son Chung of Ann Arbor, MI and a large extended family and many friends.
Her services will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 10:45 A.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St (cor of North St) Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Today, Friday from 4 to 8 P.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
